The owner, Jerry Jackson, built his first exhaust on a 1955 Studebaker at his first exhaust company in the early 1960s. He bent the pipes of a custom J.C. Whitney exhaust until it fit. In the 1970s, he worked for Bay Center Auto, and in 1973, he opened his own company called JD&M Muffler, which he sold in 1979. In 1984, he started working for Tom's Muffler, bought it in 1987 and renamed it Jerry's Precision Muffler.
The manager, Jeff Jackson, is an expert exhaust technician and creative custom exhaust designer and installer. In his spare time, he enjoys building animals and other figurines out of old exhaust parts.
